Filter、Attack 與 Texture

Saw-triangle blend 透過 800 Hz–2 kHz 左右的 low-pass，會讓 pad 更悶、更陰影化。Cutoff 太高或 unison 太多，pad 很快變刺耳。

慢 attack 能避免遮住 vocal onset；medium release 可以防止不自然 pumping。Noise、choir one-shot 或 field texture 低電平墊在 synth 下方，就能增加 grit。

Movement 比層數更重要：cutoff 上的慢速 LFO，比一直加新 patch 更有效。Wide tops 可以開啟，但 low mids 要保持 mono-safe。

混音中的電平與 Sidechain

Pad 電平應在 lead melody 下方。Hook 裡可以自動化 filter open，但不要讓 1–3 kHz 與 vocal 或主旋律衝突。

Trap groove 中，如果 pad bus 低中頻膨脹，對 kick 做 1–2 dB 輕 sidechain。需要更多能量時，先自動化 bus level 或 filter，而非插入新的厚重 layer。

FL Studio 中的 Dark Pads

Sytrus、Harmor 或 wavetable synth 都能做 dark pad。常見鏈路是 synth → Fruity Filter → reverb send，另加一個輕微 saturation 或 chorus 層。

情緒化 beat 中，piano roll 不必完全量化。輕微松動 chord onset，pad 會更像人演奏。工程裡記錄 patch name、BPM 和 key，方便下次復用。

Ableton Live 中的 Dark Pads

Wavetable 或 Analog 加 Auto Filter 是快速路線。用 Audio Effect Rack macro 控制 cutoff、reverb send 和 width，可以在編曲裡一次性自動化。

長 filter automation 和 heavy reverb 容易吃 CPU；聲音定稿後 freeze，確保離線匯出不會 glitch。

Dark Pad 混音

Pad 刺耳通常是 cutoff 太高、unison 太多或 reverb return 太亮。先調音色，再用 EQ 切 250–500 Hz 的渾濁。

使用帶 pre-delay 的 send reverb，可以讓 vocal 保持靠前。Reverb return 在低頻高通，避免 hall tail 覆蓋 808 和 kick。

Dark Pad 常見錯誤

明亮 hall 放在 dark pad 上，會把 trap vocal 洗掉。Pad 和 lead 放在同一八度且不做 EQ 分離，會讓 hook 沒有焦點。

不要讓 pad bus 保留 sub，也不要為了“更寬”把低頻 stereo 化。Mono check 透過後，再決定 high-band width。
